To Ten Grills Under 300.00

Meeting with Steve Muller.

Before arriving in Australia I joined a few forums for VW enthusiasts in Australia to find some 'meaningful contact Pearl Research kombi. Forum Aussieveedubbers contacted me some Steve Muller, an Italian-Australian who runs a garage in Sydney so tune only kombi and bettle. I reply and I promise that we will now see him as soon as we could. Two days ago I called and we went to visit him. I knew it was one of the largest VW enthusiasts in Australia, but never thought to find so large a collection of resources and VW parts.
Means Notable: Barndoor panel double doors on the right side driving, barndoor samba, samba 23 two glasses, pretzels cabrio, 34 kg and then a string of ovals, split bus of any kind. Steve addition to being super nice and was really nice, the fact that two Italians went to visit him and pleasure was surely demonstrated his acceptance by offering lunch, giving us a few beers and a few grains including a cap of branded petrol 'VW Australia '. That is, there is a VW symbol and side 2 kangaroos! Steve
This was also the transmission Guinness Book of Records for having broken the record of disassembly and reassembly of an engine from a beetle.

Does Hair Grow Out Of Herpes

Wednesday, January 21 - The Bar

Now it's my turn to talk about how we are surviving in Sydney. As mentioned by Borge both work. I DRUM, I had a chance exaggerated. On Saturday I rode like a madman through the streets of Leichard, the Italian neighborhood here in Sydney, leaving my CV to all bars and restaurants, the day after I was called to the Bar for Italy Trainig Day Monday and already in employment. Really cool! This place is a typical Help Yourself Restaurant that is, the things people order at the counter, and then expect them to be ready if the door to the table. Since you do not sell alcohol (it takes a special license), many have come with bottles of wine and beers. The only exception is food that is brought by the waiters in the kitchen. My duties range from the collector, or go around the tables to collect plates and cups (and I have to open a parenthesis here because it was difficult at the beginning: you have to take them almost immediately, without waiting for customers to rise up, then you never sure if they finished or not), the ice cream. My clothes are Italian Australian of Calabrian origin and chew on a good Italian. My colleagues are very nice and all nationalities, Brazilian, Czech, Indian, Greek and Italian there is another. As a district Italoaustraliano many customers speak Italian and when they hear my preliminary take strong and well ask me to Italy. close the chapter and open the chapter on Italy Bar Victoria Street, and here there is to get his hair! Since we have to earn money, we decided not to go in the hostel, then we sleep in the van CENTER TO SYDNEY FROM A MONTH! I think we're breaking all records with barbonaggio van. We go to services in the Great Aussie Backpackers, the hostel where we had just arrived in Australia. Here we are open to various friends and latch shower, internet, laundry and kitchen. I do not know if the various receptionists have noticed that we do not have a room, but now greet us as if we had. Last week I also made it possible to organize a Sangria Party in the Courtyard, assisted by Marc, a very nice English. Later that evening, when everything closes, we move the truck in an adjacent street just beaten by the Rangers but full of weirdos, not too reassuring, but now we are the less reassuring. If we continue like this we can quickly spread to other places. Stay tuned for updates .. STAY TUNED!

Why Is It Fried Fish Stick On The Pan

Italy Tuesday, January 13 - Blue Mountains

Taking advantage of a day when nobody was working, we started, accompanied by Richard (a Venetian hypermetabolic) at the time of the Blue Mountains. This mountain range rises to an hour and a half drive from Sydney, and takes its name from the fact that, around sunset, the color tends to blue. This peculiarity is due to the fumes of the many eucalyptus trees that cover most of the mountains. Of course they are not particularly high, there's a maximum of just over 1000 meters or something. However, the trip was very pleasant, and some views literally leave you breathless, half of them also go into the valleys, sawn from streams, rivers and waterfalls, it really gives the impression of entering into a past dominated by nature and ancient magic.

Mustard Colored Mucus

Borge and Botti at Work!

Despite the strong euro and the Australian relatively low cost of living, the money is running out, so we ran for cover, find a job here in Sydney.
I know it's crazy, but here in Sydney we sleep in the van, despite the various bans on camping and parking charges have not found all the gabule for us to do fine! During the day parked in front of the hostel Great Aussie (where we use for showers, toilets, internet) and 300 meters and at night we go to a street where you can sleep without being fined!
We are considering the idea of \u200b\u200bfinding a garage to park and sleep in peace ... maybe we found it! Chapter
work: I (Borge) I found as a pizza delivery from Arthur's Pizza on Oxford St. to the Top 17 if there are pizza at home I sit on the kombi and early deliveries, otherwise go to the kitchen with the other driver to prepare ingredients for the pizzas. Mozzarella (which has nothing to do with ours), peppers, mushrooms, ham, onions ...
The first day I had gone despite Strabo presented with maps brutally torn from the yellow pages which are not shown in the pizza:). Fortunately, all deliveries were covered in maps!
Now with the street directory to find the hidden streets of Sydney!
The work is dynamic, I'm not a moment to stop and I like that!
The pay is not bad, depends primarily on tips from customers. The second day I pulled up a $ 20 tip!
There is no better way to raise awareness of the brand 'Volks'n'roll' if you do not run for 6 hours in traffic in Sydney! :)
Botti instead found work at the Bar in Italy Leichardt. Waiter, bartender, glass collector and ice cream ... even for him the pay is not bad, we were lucky enough!
Then if he wants, Botti will best describe his new job!
For now we'll be a bit 'here to pick up a good nest egg to reach Melbourne!
A short post Great article on the Aussie, the hostel where we spend our free time here in Sydney. In a hostel which is subject to absolute anarchy, and the courtyard (interior courtyard) is a place of perdition where we gather to eat, chat, surf the Internet and do the famous italian sundays (Sundays dedicated kitchen and goliardia Italian-style):)
soon!
